About

My name is Amanda and my family and I moved out to the countryside in 2021.  For me the reason to move was twofold: food security + health.  You see it was at that time that I was diagnosed with 2 types of thyroid cancer, which I found out after having my entire thyroid removed.

How It Started...

On the journey to grow our own food I picked up a book: Vegetables Love Flowers.  Which sold me on the mass benefits of growing flowers amongst your vegetable garden.  I grew sunflowers & zinnias for the first time and now joke that they were my "gateway flower"... I was hooked on their beauty and ecological benefits but one thing I didn't expect was the immense joy and thrill they gave me.  They make my heart skip a beat.

Fast forward and God has opened doors I never knew I wanted to walk through. I get to grow a flower based business with my family right beside me, helping me every step of the way.

Building Community...

I am so grateful to live in such a supportive community that truly values farmers.  They support our farm + business and allow us to continue to grow and serve them with our flowers grown right here in Bloomfield Kentucky.  A new passion for me has been teaching others how to grow their own gardens and teaching other local farmers how to navigate the dizzying world of online marketing and social media.
